Delaware Valley Professional Chapter Annual Baseball Outing

Delaware Valley Professional Chapter hosted the 13th annual Atlantic Central District Professional outing to the Aberdeen IronBirds on Saturday, July 25, 2015.  The annual baseball game, which includes a ballpark buffet on the Party Deck at Ripken Stadium, is organized by Delaware Valley Professional Chapter Treasurer Jeff Moore (Alpha Omega, 1990).  As always, a good time was had by all! The Atlantic Central Professional Chapters have committed to continuing this outing as an annual event and sponsor collegiate brothers who are interested in attending. We have had attendance from across the district and beyond. Reservations have already been made for Saturday, August 27, 2016, so mark your calendars now as tickets are going fast!

The Aberdeen IronBirds are a class A, short-season affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. The team is owned by Cal Ripken, Jr. (The Ironman) and plays home games at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium. The IronBirds have two mascots, Ferrous and Ripcord. Of course, Ferrous is the Alpha Chi Sigma favorite. 

The Delaware Valley Professional Chapter also holds monthly dinner meetings on the third Sunday at La Tolteca.  The dinners are family-friendly and attract 12-30 people each month including collegiate Brothers from Gamma Omega (Widener University).  Any Brothers who happen to be in the Delaware area are welcome to join!
